A Lockheed F-104G of the German Navy fires an MBB Kormoran air-to-surface antiship missile during recent trials of production rounds. Kormorans will eventually equip both the F-104Gs and Tornadoes of the German Navy.

First flight of American Jet Industries' Hustler took place on January 11, 1978. The aircraft, powered by a Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of Canada PT6A-45 turboprop, took off from Van Nuys, California, and flew to Mojave. Customers will also be offered a version fitted with a Williams Research Corporation WR193-1 turbofan as a standby powerplant.
