Three Seafire F.17s of 1831 Sqn from Stretton.
An 1832 Sqn Seafire practising deck landing style arrivals at Culham, Oxon in December 1948. At this time the squadron was equipped with Seafire FR.46s and F.17s.
In September 1950 the national press paid a visit to HMS Illustrious to report and photograph RNVR squadrons under training. In all, 26 aircraft were embarked for the fortnight s training. This picture of a Seafire was taken on September 1.

D. H. Dominie HG714 was one of 65 Dominies supplied to the Royal Navy between 1940 and 1946. This particular aircraft was attached to RNAS Stretton.
