  • H-NADP was one of a batch of eleven Fokker F.VII as delivered to the Dutch airline KLM between October 1925 and March 1927. This aircraft later became PH-OTO, and then PH-ALY before being sold to the Finnish Airline Aalborg Luftfart as OY-DEV. Later it passed to the Finnish Air Force as a Red Cross aircraft, becoming FE-2.

  • D.H.60 Moth G-EBQJ, originally built at Stag Lane as a seaplane in 1927, was converted to a landplane and sold to Denis M. M. Rooke. The owner departed Croydon for Australia on May 24, 1927, for a bet. His luck ran out when the Moth hit a palm tree while taking off from Aurangabad on August 14. The Moth, named Margorie, was destroyed.

  • Avro Avian G-EBTU, the prototype Type 594 Mk III, was built in 1927 and sold to Capt Bill Lancaster. Named Red Rose, for obvious reasons, the Avian was flown to Australia between October 14, 1927 and March 19, 1928. In May that year it was sold in Australia and became G-AUTU, later becoming VH-UTU. On June 6, 1936 the Avian was burnt out at Singleton in New South Wales.

  • The fourth D.H.66 Hercules, G-EBMZ, was registered to Imperial Airways in 1927 and named City of Jerusalem. On the night of September 6, 1929, ’MZ stalled while approaching Jask in Persia and was destroyed by fire, killing pilot Capt Woodbridge and two passengers. Eleven of these seven-passenger airliners were built. They were powered by three 420 h.p. Bristol Jupiter VI radial engines and had a cruising speed of 110 m.p.h.

  • The second D.H.66 Hercules, G-EBMX, was built at Stag Lane in 1926 for Imperial Airways. Named City of Delhi, 'MX made the inaugural flight on the desert route between Cairo and Karachi, leaving Croydon on December 26, 1926 and arriving at Delhi on January 8, 1927, where the naming ceremony was carried out. In November 1934 ’MX was sold to the South African Air Force as Serial No 262 and was finally dismantled for spares at Broken Hill in November 1939.

  • Vickers Vulture II G-EBHO, built in 1923 and subsequently converted to Type 95 Vulture for Sqn Ldr MacLaren's round-the-world flight of 1924. After departure from Calshot on March 25, 1924, the flight was cut short when the Vulture crashed while taking off from Akyab in Burma on May 24, 1924.
