North American P-51H-5-NA 44-64192 was used by Grumman to test the XF10F-1 design as a flying wind-tunnel. This Mustang was later transferred from the USAF to the US Navy.

This Japanese long-range recce Kawanishi H8K2 “Emily” flying-boat is probably the example discovered in a repair shop on Shikoku Island, Western Japan at the end of the war. The 'boat was made airworthy and flown to the American base at Yokohama on November 11, 1945 and then flown to the USA for evaluation.

This Martin AM-1 Mauler bombs. This carrier-based attack aircraft went into service in March 1948, and 151 had been built when production ceased in October 1949. The Mauler normally carried 4,500lb of assorted ordnance, but was capable of carrying twice this load.
