An Airspeed Oxford three-seat advanced trainer waiting by the flarepath on a night training flight in 1941. The Oxford II, used mainly for pilot training, had the dorsal turret removed and was powered by two 370 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah X radial engines.
