Warbirds of Great Britain's newly-imported Grumman Bearcat NX800H at Ipswich Airport on December 30, 1990, after arriving by road from Felixstowe Dock along with Wildcat N909WJ. Both aircraft were subsequently flown to WoGB’s Biggin Hill base by Sqn Ldr Rod Dean.

The centre fuselage of Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 “Black 3” at Gardermoen AFB, Norway, in December 1990 following restoration by the Texas Air Museum (TAM) at Rio Hondo. In return for five Fw 190 wrecks recovered in Norway in recent years, the TAM is rebuilding a complete static example for the Royal Norwegian Air Forces historic collection, whose Heinkel He 111 5J+CN may be seen in the background.

Another Australia-based aircraft made its first post-restoration flight on November 31, 1990, in the shape of North American Harvard VH-LJQ. Formerly registered N4995A and based in California, ’JQ was sold after taking part in last year's England-Australia Vintage Air Rally.

Randy McFarlane's North American T-28 Trojan VH-XVT made its first post-restoration flight at Bankstown, New South Wales, on November 31, 1990. Restored by Michael Chadwick of Winrye Aviation, the T-28 was imported into Australia from Thailand by Col Pay in November 1988.

This superb pholograph by IAN FRIMSTON depict the latest progress with Roger Reeves’s Sopwith Dove reproduction G-EAGA, nearing completion in the hands of Bedfordshire-based Skysport Engineering. They were taken at Skysport's Rotary Farm base - note the company’s “plane" logo on the hangar.
