Stanley Orton Bradshaw’s evocative 1938 watercolour depicting a trio of 601 (City of London) Squadron Hawker Demons. Based at Hendon and later at Kenley, the squadron operated Demons from February 1937 until February 1939. The RAF Museum houses a large selection of Bradshaw watercolours.
