Duncan Aviation recently unveiled this Cessna 560XL Citation XLS N1KD (c/n 560-5648), commissioned from artist Nancy Friedemann Sanchez, who is also based in the company's home city of Lincoln, Nebraska. The design, which was applied at the company's maintenance, repair and overhaul facility, was requested by J Robert Duncan, chairman emeritus, and his wife, Karen. It is the latest of several design schemes applied by the company, including an orange-and-yellow plaid Citation Mustang, an apple-green Citation M2 with coloured splotches, and a red-and-black Learjet 35A. The interior of the Citation XLS has also been refurbished, with Garmin G5000 avionics installed, and the aircraft will be used as a mobile demonstrator of Duncan's upgrade and completion capabilities.
