Aviamilano P.19 Scricciolo (Italy)
This side-by-side two-seat light monoplane was designed to meet the requirements of the Aero Club of Italy for a primary trainer. The prototype flew for the first time on 13 December 1959 and three production versions were produced. The P.19 was the initial production version powered by a 74.5 kW (100 lip) Continental O-200-A flat-four engine. The P.19R was introduced in 1964 for glider-towing and general duties, powered by a 112 kW (150 hp) Lycoming O-320-A1A engine. The P. 19 tr was similar to the P.19 but had a retractable landing gear. The first series of 25 production Scricciolos was completed in 1963.
