It would be reasonable to assume that the arrival of a massive double-deck triplane trimotor airliner in a local field would attract more than a little attention, but there appears to be no reports relating to the damaged Caproni Ca 48 at Wadhurst in December 1919. What was it doing in the UK and what subsequently happened to it?
