Yellow and black striping has now replaced the red striping applied to the target-towing aircraft of the Zielfliegerkorps as is shown by this C-3605 conversion (C-509). This photographs having been taken at Emmen.

The prototype conversion (C-502) was first flown on 19 August 1968, initially without the central tailfin.
