Регистрационный номер: G-AFZX Robert Wyndham aloft in the sole Marendaz Trainer, G-AFZX, in November 1939. Could it be the same Robert Wyndham who gained fame in the early 1930s as a parachutist and later lost his left arm while making a film called Test Pilot - possibly the 1938 Clark Gable classic? Any clues gratefully received!
On an early flight (perhaps the first) pilot Wyndham sits high in the cockpit as the Trainer, throttled back, comes over the boundary. If it would have lived up to the promises that it appeared to offer we will never know, for in the years of war it was soon forgotten.Самолёты на фотографии: Marendaz Trainer - Великобритания - 1939
