A Fulmar Mk II, powered by 1,080 h.p. Rolls-Royce Merlin VIII engine. Later Mk Ils were fitted with 1,300 h.p. Merlin 30s.

The P.4/34, K5099, became the pattern for the Fulmar, to which it bore a basic likeness.
