Sikorsky's X2's co-axial rotors are designed to deliver speed and performance advantages without the complexity and additional structural weight inherent in tilt rotors.
The X2 uses a six blade propeller, known as a propulsor, to relieve the main rotor from providing the majority of forward thrust.
