The UH-1H Huey entered service with the Comando de Aviacion de Ejercito in 1970 and 32 remain in service. The original order of 53 aircraft was supplemented with four second-hand aircraft acquired from the Argentine Navy in February 2008. At least 20 are currently undergoing a local upgrade to Huey II standard.
