The first production Vinka. which was officially accepted by the Finnish air arm in October, emerges from its hangar at Kuorevesi. Possessing aesthetically attractive yet businesslike contours, the Vinka promises major economies in the training syllabus when it achieves full-scale service at the Central Flying School later this year.

The instrument panel of the Vinka reflects the close attention that has been paid to ergonomics in the cockpit design of the trainer, the longitudinal central console also serving to reinforce the floor.
