Five Aerospatiale SA 316B Alouette IIIs are among the helicopters used by the Tunisian Air Force in the liaison and training roles.

The Royal Jordanian Air Force has a special communications kit in its six Alouette IIIs.

Alouette IIIs of the Forca Aerea Portuguesa are operated by Esq 551 (Grupo 61) and Esq 552 (Grupo 31), at Montijo and Tancos respectively.

The Royal Malaysian Air Force uses some three dozen Alouette IIIs for light transport, communications and training duties.

Alouette IIIs have served in the SAAF since 1962 and currently fly with Nos 16 and 17 Squadrons, and with No 87 Advanced Flying School.
