An impression of a possible Mach 5 commercial aircraft being developed by Hermeus Corporation that could be used by the US Presidential and Executive Airlift fleet. The company based in Atlanta, Georgia, was awarded a contract on August 6, 2020 by the USAF and Presidential and Executive airlift Directorate to examine options for hypersonic travel for the US Department of Defence.
