J-TAOR Yokosho Type Igo-Kogata (I-Ko) 2-seat open-cockpit trainer floatplane (100-130 kp Benz 4-cyl water-cooled in-line) 1920. Japan Air Transport Research Institute, used as Chidori (Plover) scheduled service transport.
J-TAOR Yokosho 1A I-go Ko-gata floatplane. This was c/n 44 previously listed as J-TAOP and built by the Naval Air Arsenal. CofA was issued 5.25, registration cancelled 3.28.
J-TAOQ Yokosho I-go Ko-gata biplane 2-seat open-cockpit seaplane. C/n 43. CofA 3.24. "Chidori No 8". CofA expired 2.25, heavily damaged by typhoon 3.25. NKYK. (The I-go Ko-gata Navy seaplane trainer was known as the Chidori-go [Plover] in civilian use.)

J-TEQU Yokosho I-go Ko-gata two-seat biplane seaplane (Hall-Scott 150hp) C/n 38. CofA 1.24, S.Oota. To C.Inoue (NKYK) 5.24, CofA expired 7.24.
J-TEUY Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane (Benz 130hp) C/n 45. CofA 3.24, "Chidori (Plover) No.10", C.Inoue (NKYK). Crashed 6.7.24 while covering British round-the-world flight of Sqd Ldr MacLaren for Asahi newspaper.
J-TISV Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Benz 100hp 6-cyl water-cooled inline). C/n 41. CofA 11.22. "Chidori No.1", NKYK. CofA expired 8.24. When CofA renewed 2.24, the aircraft was recorded as "Chidori No.9".
J-TITX Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Benz 100 or 130hp). CofA 11.22, C.Inoue (NKYK) "Chidori No.2". CofA returned 1.23 due to aircraft being damaged.
J-TIUY Yokosho I-go Ko-gata. CofA 12.22, owner NKYK. Fate unkn.
J-TIVZ Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Daimler 160/200hp ), CofA 2.23, C.Inoue (NKYK). "Chidori No.4". Fate not known.
J-TOBH Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Curtiss 250hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval Arsenal factory 36. CofA 4.24, NKKK. CofA returned 10.24 as aircraft damaged.
J-TOCI Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Benz 150hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval factory 48. CofA 5.24. NKYK. CofA expired 5.25. [NKYK acquired ten I-go Ko-gata seaplanes from the Navy, only this one example modified by installation of higher-powered Benz engine. To distinguish it from the other aircraft the fuselage was painted red and it was named "Red Plover".
J-TOFL Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Benz 130hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval factory 40. CofA 7.24, NKYK "Chidori No.2". CofA returned 3.25 as aircraft seriously damaged by typhoon.
J-TOHN Yokosho I-go Ko-gata seaplane biplane trainer (Benz 130hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval factory 38. CofA 8.24, C.Inoue (NKYK). CofA returned 6.25 as aircraft destroyed.
J-TOXB Yokosho I-go Ko-gata. C/n Yokosuka Arsenal 42. CofA issued 11.23. Owner NKYK "Chidori 6". CofA expired 1.25.
J-TUMT Yokosho I-go Ko-gata (Curtiss 150hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval factory 33. CofA 11.24, NKKK. CofA expired 1.26.
J-TURY Yokosho I-go Ko-gata (Benz 130hp). C/n Yokosuka Naval factory 44. CofA 12.24, C.Inoue (NKYK). CofA returned 3.25 as aircraft destroyed by typhoon.

From the left they are J-TOCI, J-TOFL and J-TOXB, formerly used as Naval seaplane trainers and known in civilian service as "Chidori-go" ("Plover").

Регистрационный номер: J-TAOO, J-TOFL [2] Other results of the same typhoon on the NKYK fleet. The upper photo shows I-go Ko-gata J-TAOO which was also destroyed. In the lower photo another of the type, J-TOFL "Chidori No.2", lies beneath an overturned flying boat. This looks so much like the Itoh Emi 31 but with a military roundel, that we may have discovered the final fate of J-TIRU - but see also notes on J-TOUA.
