Регистрационный номер: NR55Y [4] Two views of the pretty little Howard DGA-4 “Mike”, R55Y, with Harold Neumann in charge. Built by Ben Howard in 1932, the 20ft 1in-span DGA-4 had a maximum speed of 207 m.p.h. Here it is painted white with black letters.

Регистрационный номер: NR55Y [4] Ben Howard's second racer, DGA-4 "Mike" NR55Y Race No.38 with Harold Neumann in the cockpit in 1934. According to Howard the DGA stood for 'Damn Good Airplane'. The fuselage was welded steel tube with wood stringers, the wood wing was wire braced and the aircraft was fabric covered. There was no springing on the undercarriage.
