One of the last de Havilland Sea Vixens still in official use is XS577 which was photographed in May at RAE Llanbedr by Mr G Stockle.

Designated Hip K, this special communications jamming ECM version of the Soviet Mil Mi-8 was seen recently at Dresden-Hollerau by reader Roel van Gestel, although its main base is believed to be Kochstedt. In addition to the large antenna array on the fuselage side, this version also carries a row of six heat exchangers under the forward fuselage, but no Doppler box under the tailboom.
