??? - Cutting it too fine
Lt Capt Soerensen in his Meteor F.4 approaching Copenhagen harbour inverted and at about 40ft above the water. In front of him are the masts of the yachts he is about to hit.
Having hit the masts the port tailplane of the Meteor has all but broken away. The pilot is still at the controls.
The Meteor, possibly 463, lies the right way up in a crumpled heap in a playing field. Danish Meteor F.4s were finished in a glossy green and grey camouflage scheme.
