R.Nesbit - The flight of Rudolf Hess (2)
Three machine guns recovered from the crashed Bf 110D. These are Rheinmetall MG 17s, 7.92mm (0-312in) calibre, with a rate of fire of up to 1,100 rounds per minute. The guns were new and packed with grease. There was no ammunition in the aircraft.
