From the Wessex Aviation Society at Stapehill, Wimborne, Dorset, comes the photograph of the nearly completed fuselage of its Wight Quadruplane reproduction. Characteristic features of this one-off curio, built as a private venture in 1916, are already visible in the tiny horn-balanced rudder, excessively tall tailskid, and the root fittings for the patented Wight double-camber wings. The reproduction will depict the Quadruplane in its original form.
