D.H.’s second biplane, which utilised the 45 h.p. D.H.1 Iris engine salvaged from the unsuccessful first aircraft. It made its maiden flight on September 10, 1910 at Seven Barrows.

Another view of Geoffrey de Havilland's second biplane. Following initial flights at Seven Barrows the aircraft was purchased by the War Office and flown from Farnborough. It was last flown in August 1911.
