Регистрационный номер: G-AEHJ [6] Polished and pushed out with its new windscreen and cockpit cover, G-AEHJ now represents the Series I in its final form as adopted for the Series II except for the Gipsy Six II engine and variable pitch propeller.
Heston Phoenix I G-AEHJ with 200 hp Gipsy Six engine and retractable undercarriage. It was the third and last Mk I, c/n 1/3, and was followed by three Mk II. The ex company demonstrator, it was owned by British American Air Services at Heston from 6.39 and was noted at Elmdon on 28 and 29.9.39. It did not survive long enough to be impressed as it crashed in the River Mersey at Liverpool on 13.2.40.Самолёты на фотографии: Heston Phoenix - Великобритания - 1935

Регистрационный номер: G-AEHJ [6] G-AEHJ stayed with the manufacturers for three years, taking over from the prototype as demonstrator and hire aircraft, before being transferred to neighbour BAAS a few months before the war. In 1939 it had been allocated to National Air Communications but was never actually impressed as it crashed into the River Mersey in February 1940.

Регистрационный номер: G-AESV [5] G-AESV was ordered by Standard Telephones for use as a radio flying laboratory and as is seen here a heavy duty radio mast was installed in the cabin roof during manufacture. A wind-driven generator was also fitted during production on the leading edge of the right wing.

Below the latter and out of sight behind the right-hand wheel is the control gate for the short-wave fighter set.
The cabin of G-AESV shows full dual control including a right side throttle box but only one set of flying instruments is fitted.
