The 'flat' wing and the multi-streak paint scheme show up well in this rear view of the AeC.1. The partially transparent top of the enclosed cockpit had to be opened for access. A mat is placed on the left wing root for protection.

The first of the FMA Monoplanes, the AeC.1. The pilot's forward view was good between the top two cylinders of the uncowled Armstrong Siddeley Mongoose 5-cyl radial engine.
The cantilever low wing has little dihedral, narrow centre-section, narrow track divided undercarriage. Its 5-cyl radial has the vertical cylinder at the bottom and a left hand tractor propeller.Самолёты на фотографии: FMA Ae.C.1 - Аргентина - 1932

The AeC.1 looks very smart in military roundels but with a paint scheme more appropriate to a civil aircraft. Its identification can be seen at the bottom of the rudder.

The AeC.2 No.002 seen at Cordoba on 24th May 1933. Apart from the lack of spats and its wood propeller with spinner it looks very similar to the prototype.

Вооруженный военный вариант AeMO.1 отличался наличием пулеметной турели в задней кабине.
This AeMO.1 is equipped for air fighting with a hand-operated machine gun in the rear cockpit. It appears to have been fitted with bomb racks under the wing centre-section.Самолёты на фотографии: FMA Ae.C.2 / Ae.C.3 / Ae.M.O.1 - Аргентина - 1932

Head-on view of the AeC.2 trainer. Compared with the AeC.1 the increased dihedral and different position of the engine cylinders are noticeable, but the undercarriage is of the same type.

Head-on, the AeC.2 shows increased wing dihedral and main undercarriage legs aligned with narrow centre section. The exhaust manifold is on the front of the engine but this time there is no Townend ring.

This AeMO.1 is identified on the new parallel-chord rudder as No.002. With the exception of the undercarriage all structural features showed differences from its predecessors and the 7-cyl Whirlwind was the uncowled 240 hp R-760-E model.

Регистрационный номер: R-70 R-70 the locally-built FMA AeC3.
Archive's Argentine R-Register' illustrated this AeC.3 R-70, the photograph taken before the years of flying club or private operation had time to build up the signs of oil spillage and wear and tear which is the fate of survivors.Самолёты на фотографии: FMA Ae.C.2 / Ae.C.3 / Ae.M.O.1 - Аргентина - 1932

The multi-streak paintwork is evident in this rear view of the AeC. 2 prototype which also shows the narrow cockpit fairings and the angular shape of the elevators.

Intended to be a trainer, the wider cockpit openings and windscreens of AeC.2 No.002 are apparent with a head fairing behind the rear cockpit. The 002 in the designation can be seen on the rudder.

The AeMB bombers had an eleven-year life, this one and perhaps others ending up with armament removed as transports. Note the engine cowling lengthened to NACA format.

The AeMB.1 prototype bomber forsook the tripod-leg undercarriage in favour of a trousered assembly. The two-pilot cockpit was open as was the dorsal gunner's position.

The AeMB.2 production version had an enclosure for the dorsal gunner, politely called a turret without giving any details. The cockpit was now enclosed and landing lights were fitted in the wings.

Разработанный FMA, но строившийся "Petrolini SA", самолет FMA El Boyero сильно напоминал легкие монопланы производства США середины 1930-х годов. Самолет за свою надежность долго пользовался популярностью.
The El Boyero prototypes were FMA designed in 1940 but were not put into production, by another company, until 1949. A number ended up as two-seat side-by-side trainers for the flying clubs.Самолёты на фотографии: FMA FMA.20 El Boyero - Аргентина - 1940

The same first prototype showing the name El Boyero on the fin and the designation FMA No.01 on the rudder. Only 50 hp was available for the two prototypes but the production aircraft had 65 or 75 hp Continental engines.
