(Left) The Fairchild-built KR-34C of 1929, this being the redesignation of the Challenger C-4C, and (right) the restored Parks P-IIA flown by Richard Bach. As originally built by Parks Aircraft, the P-IIA was virtually identical to the Kreider-Reisner Challenger C-4C and the Fairchild KR-34C which had preceded it.

Another fin and rudder assembly tried on the P-1H was the long oval shape with increased fin area seen on NC756Y. It has ailerons on the lower wing only so perhaps it should have been called a P-2H ?
