Регистрационный номер: G-EBZK G-EBZK, the sole Bristol 109, c/n 7268, did not attempt the long-distance record for which it was designed and is seen here as R2 ready for use on the endurance testing of the 490 hp Jupiter XIF 9-cyl radial engine in 1930. By the end of the year the prototype HP42 G-AAGX "Hannibal" had flown with four XIF Jupiters and the engine was developed to give 550 hp in production HP42s.
