  • Регистрационный номер: G-EDCA

DH.60X Cirrus Moth (first X with straight axle) c/n 529 G-EDCA was the personal transport of Sir Sefton Brancker, Director of Civil Aviation. The special registration had earlier been applied to the first RAF Genet Moth J8818 c/n 379 which he had used previously. The exhaust pipe passing outside the front strut shows this 'DCA to be a Cirrus II Moth. Interestingly it wears the engine cover of the AA's Moth, either G-EBRU or G-EBUR.

By the end of the year the prototype HP42 G-AAGX "Hannibal" had flown with four XIF Jupiters and the engine was developed to give 550 hp in production HP42s.
