C/n 1155 is one of two Gipsy Moths quoted as VT-ABB, the other being c/n 1423. The photograph possibly adds to the problem without solving anything. It shows VT-ABB named "Sir Charles Wakefield" at Juhu Air Park for presentation by the Governor Sir Frederick Sykes, himself an early Brooklands flier, as the Wakefield Gift Plane to the Bombay Flying Club at their At Home and Air Display on 3.12.29. On the left is Mr J.A.Brown of C.C.Wakefield & Co, on the right Mr W.Scott King the Bombay Flying Club Engineer. The same name was also applied to c/n 888, ZK-AAA.
