Taylorcraft 20 ZK-BLX "Rock 'n' Roll" was a short-lived import. It has been listed as a Ranchwagon, but as an agricultural model is more likely to have been a Topper. It is shown at the Palmerston North Air Show in 1956.

ZK-BMI was the prototype Auster Agricola converted to production standard with variable-pitch propeller and additional intake above the engine. Clearly visible here are the long exhaust chutes and slotted flaps in extended position. Although it appears in our latest extract from the New Zealand Register, the aircraft was never delivered from the UK.

First photograph of the Auster Agricola, which has been designed for aerial fertilising. Engine is a 240-h.p. Continental.
The prototype Auster B.8 Agricola G-25-3 was powered by a 240hp Continental O-470-B flat-six engine, initially with a fixed-pitch propeller. The large angular fin fillet was soon removed as unnecessary, but even after conversion to production standard as ZK-BMI c/n B.101 could still be identified by the fact that its rear windows were circular.
