The Kantor Strat, a clean design with a 6-cyl Franklin engine and fixed pitch propeller, here still awaiting flight testing with experimental NX prefix taped over registration NC74106.
Flying, Sept 1949: * p44/45 - "Have you seen?" photo feature included the Jamieson Jupiter N1859M, a V-tail 3-seater with folding wings and a 115 hp Lycoming. Designer C M Jamieson, formerly of Culver and Beech, claimed a speed range from under 30 mph to cruise of over 150 mph. Also introduced was the Strat, a 4-seat all metal low-wing monoplane with a 150 hp Franklin, designed by Mischa Kantor and regd NX74106. Did either of these designs develop beyond the prototype stage?
Flying. Sept 1949 p.44/45 - The Kantor Strat M-21 was built in 1947, with a 150 hp Franklin engine and was still registered in 1994 as N74106 c/n 101 to David R Fox of Kingston, NY.
