Russian Aviation Museum

Elf-D was developed at MAI within research program Distantsia ( Distance ). NII AS DPLA issued TZ (specifications) for this project to investigate opportunities to control aircraft of the Elf-D class using TV systems.
Special operator control desk was designed an built.

Two Elf-D were built, trials took place but the outcome is unknown.
