Russian Aviation Museum

Manned version of the Elf-D unmanned aircraft. This nice-looking ultralight was used as an test platform for following recearch programs:
  - no-stall aircraft
  - balance of aircraft with high-placed pusher engine on various engine regimes
  - new design solution (springs for landing gear, new skin types)
  - trials of western-made light aircraft engines of several types

  Elf passed complete ground and flight trials program at LII MAP. Later it was used as a trainer to prepare pilots to fly aircraft of its class.
