High-praised business class aircraft powered by Allison AE-3010/12 engines. Project started in 1993. Yak-77 can be used in two configurations:
  - superlong-range executive;
  - 32-seat short to medium range passenger;

The passenger cabin size and equipment provide necessary comfort during the prolonged flight at maximum range. Yak-77 fully conforms the US FAR-25 and European JAR-25 regulations. "Collins" avionics system installed on the aircraft provides the highest
level of flight safety and navigation accuracy in any point of the world. It's final certification, fist deliveries to customers and operation start were planned for 1996-1997.

Passenger configuration with stretched fuselage provides room for 50...70 passengers.

Airplanes were to be assembled at the Saratov Aviation Plant.
