One of the aircraft that participated in this year's D-Day celebrations was the Royal Navy Historic Flight's Fairey Swordfish, LS326. Painted with Invasion stripes for the occasion the aircraft was flown to France by Lt Cdr Ken Patrick and it was caught by GORDON BAIN'S camera near Beachy Head on its way from Yeovilton to Lydd on June 3 this year.
