The St Athan Fw 190 is currently painted dark grey/light grey. Since the repainting carried out in the early Seventies, evidence has come to light showing that perhaps the aircraft should have been painted in a light and dark green scheme.

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190F-8/U-1 584219 during engine ground runs at St Athan. The electrical and hydraulic systems are now being fully restored, with a view to possibly staging some taxying runs at future Open Days.
