??? - The Belfast goes civil
"Transmeridian Air Cargo" передала свои инициалы новой авиакомпании "ТАС Heavylift", с 1980 года начавшей коммерческую эксплуатацию Belfast.
TAC Heavylift livery, shown on the second of the civil Belfasts, G-BEPS. Straight-in loading to the Belfast's capacious hold is one of the aircraft’s important features for civil freighting duties.
The Belfast G-BEPS as originally painted for commercial service in 1979, when the operating company was to have been Transmeridian Air Cargo; after the latter company merged into the now-defunct British Cargo Airlines, the Belfasts remained in the hands of TAC Heavylift.
Photographed at Stansted on 6 March 1980 - the day on which civil certification was obtained - Belfast G-BEPE displays its TAC Heavylift livery.
One of TAC Heavylift's Belfasts cruises over SE England.
