Регистрационный номер: R283Y Two views of the 16ft span Folkerts SK-2 Toots, R283Y, piloted by Harold Neumann. Today Neumann is a retired TWA captain and still thrills Reno race crowds with his pylon turns. Built for the 1936 Nationals by Clayton Folkerts, the SK-2 had a welded steel fuselage and ply-covered wooden wings. Colour scheme was brown wings and yellow fuselage, with brown lettering on the fuselage and yellow numbers on the wings. The racer's top speed was 245 m.p.h.

RUDY'S RACER: The Folkerts Menasco-engined monoplane with which Rudy Kling, an agricultural worker, took the Greve and Thompson Trophies at the U.S. National Air Races. Kling landed it twice with the wheels up.
