  • Boeing 377-10-32 Stratocruiser G-AKGI RMA Caribou of BOAC in the company's third colour scheme, pictured at Heathrow in September 1957. This aircraft was No 56 off the Boeing Seattle production line. It was subsequently sold to Transocean Airlines.

  • Boeing 377-10-32 Stratocruiser G-AKGH RMA Caledonia of BOAC in the company's second colour scheme, seen at Heathrow in September 1953. The aircraft was later sold to Transocean Airlines as N137A and later became N402Q. After sale to Airline Equipment Company, it ended up with Aero Space lines.

  • Boeing 377-10-29 Stratocruiser N90947 of Pan American World Airways in original colour scheme at Paya Lebar, Singapore in September 1956. This former American Overseas Airlines aircraft became Clipper Good Hope and was later renamed Clipper Queen of the Pacific as seen here. The aircraft was sold to Israel Aircraft Industries, becoming 4X-FPY, 4X-FOF and finally 4X-FOG.

  • Boeing 377-10-26 Stratocruiser N1022V of Pan American in the second colour scheme. Originally the first civil version, as NX90700 it was used by Boeing for development, flight test and ATC certification. Bought by PAA and named Clipper Nightingale, it was sold later to RANSA as YV-C-ERI, named Carlos and converted for freight use. The aircraft was later repossessed on bankruptcy and cut up at Miami in 1969. It is pictured at Paya Lebar, in June 1959.

  • Boeing 377-10-29 Stratocruiser N90941 Flagship Europe, one of eight operated by American Overseas Airlines. During its AOA career it also bore the names Flagship Great Britain and Scandinavia. In 1950 N90941 was taken over by Pan American, in whose service it carried the names Clipper America and Clipper Australia. On July 9, 1959 it was damaged beyond repair in a belly landing at Tokyo, and was written off.

  • Boeing 377-10-26 Stratocruiser YV-C-ERH of RANSA, named Princesa Everetta Maria II. Formerly N1031V of Pan American, the aircraft was repossessed on RANSA s bankruptcy' in 1969 and cut up at Miami, where it is seen in September 1965.

  • Seen at Heathrow in June 1959 is Boeing 377-10-32 Stratocruiser N404Q of Transocean, formerly G-AKGL of BOAC. Later it passed to Mansdorf and Aero Spacelines.

  • Boeing 377-10-34 Stratocruiser G-ANTZ RMA Cordelia pictured at Heathrow in 1959. It was formerly United Air Lines N31227 Mainliner Hana Maui. The aircraft was operated by BOAC under charter for Ghana Airways and later sold to Transocean Airlines as N106Q, later N411Q but not painted as such. It was later sold to Mansdorf, then Aero Spacelines before being cut up and cannibalised for N1037V.

  • Boeing 377-10-34 Stratocruiser G-ANUB RMA Calypso was formerly United Air Lines N31229 Mainliner Hilo. It was operated by BOAC under charter to West African Airways Corp. It operated the last Stratocruiser service - Accra to London in August 1959. In 1960 it was flown to Stansted and broken up. It is pictured here at Heathrow in October 1958.
