Publicising their contribution to the export drive, Miles trailered these Magisters destined for the Portuguese Army Air Force through the streets suitably bedecked in May 1946. It is noticeable that the aircraft were not sealed or fully protected for the journey.

D-EHPA was a Klemm KI 35A c/n and owner unknown which entered production in 1935 and had a 80 hp Hirth HM60P motor.

D-ENGA together with two-seater D-EJIK flown by Troll and Poulet being led in open vic formation by B.A.Swallow G-ADLD, pilot Monteith. Ironically perhaps, the Swallow was destroyed by enemy action at Lympne in 1940.

Last time F-AOCZ was a C.F.A. Phrygane D2, c/n 23 regd on 21.11.35 to Aero Club Roland Garros. A 1933 design of which this was possibly the last production aircraft, it was a 3-seater powered by a 105 hp Salmson. A 4-seat version was also available designated D2-T4.
