This Junkers Ju 88A-5 (V4+GS) crashlanded at Steeple Morden, No.11 OTU's satellite airfield on 16th February 1941. It is shown here being inspected by the High Commissioner for New Zealand, the Rt.Hon.W.J.Jordan. The aircraft belonged to the 8th Staffel of Kampfgeschwader 1.
