Danish Air Force Oxford 21-219 was civilianised for Transair in 1956 becoming OY-FAP. As the underwing registration is very crudely painted and other markings are visible beneath, we assume that this photograph was taken during conversion.

The Norwegian Air Force's V-AW was sold as SE-BTP in 1951 and onward to KarAir in Finland as OH-VKT in July 1952. Based at Halli, where this photograph was taken in June 1953, it was reregistered OH-OXA on 30.11.54 and wfu on 14.11.57.

OO-DEC, the former O-19, seen in 1964 in a tail-less state. According to our Belgian register it crashed at Chievres on 26.10.62, though no other damage is visible here so possibly it was repaired before being scrapped at Antwerp (where this was taken?) during 1966.

The engineless shell of Oxford G-AOUT, formerly Belgian O-6 which returned to the UK to be registered to Eagle Aviation 8.56. It is normally reported as having been burnt after film use in 8.56 but this photograph was taken at Ringway on 18.7.58 and shows no obvious signs of fire damage to the fuselage or wing. Instead, we believe that it was broken up as spares for G-AJLR and G-AJXH.
