  • The aircraft is a twin-engined light bomber roughly equal to the Boulton Paul Sidestrand. It was with the USAAC at Wright Field in 1927 for testing but never received a USAAC designation. The fin, oddly, does not seem to have a rudder. It has the title 'Consolidated Sikorsky Guardian' in the white stripes above the tailplane and 'XP-496' below it.
