The aircraft hangs from the ceiling of the Air Museum at Helsingor, Denmark. Close examination reveals that the undercarriage does not seem to be well-placed to stand up to the stresses of landing. The engine is beautifully faired into the fuselage. Is this too good to be true? Answers please.
The aircraft is a Nielsen & Winther Nieuport-type Chaser Biplane. Mr N A Webber tells us that Hans Kofoed, one of our members from a long way back, has details in his book Danske Militaerfly gennem 50ar which given the official designation Type Aa.
