Jack Meaden's photo on p.94/86 shows the 1936 RO-2 with 80 hp Siemens 5-cyl radial but he has now uncovered a photo of the RO-1 which was designed in 1930 and, although very similar in layout, was a much smaller aircraft. Powered by a 35 hp Anzani 3-cyl radial it had a wing span of 6.12 m/20 ft; weights, empty 360 kg/794 lb, loaded 550 kg/ 1804 lb; and max speed of 125 kmh/ 78 mph.
