Adapting military aircraft for civilian use is not unusual, but to use a D.H. Vampire as a runabout is the last word. This Vampire is one of twenty-six purchased from the R.C.A.F.
The first civil-registered T-33, constructed from parts of several military counterparts;
F-84s have been used in several American films to depict MiG-15s. This one will be used in a film called The Hunters.
Mi-1s are to be used for fishery patrol duties and will be equipped with ballonets as shown here.
