The large flaps of the Breguet can be clearly seen in this view. For take-off the slipstream from the four propellers is deflected through an angle of 70 degrees through these flaps and results in good performance. Immediately behind the main fixed part of the wing is a single flap from tip to root, and behind this are two control surfaces on each side. The inboard surface is a double-slotted flap and the outboard surface is a droopable slotted aileron.
