The subject of this photograph, taken by JEREMY FLACK/AVIATION PHOTOGRAPHS INTERNATIONAL, is Ray Hanna’s Pilatus P.2, G-BJAX. This aircraft was retired from the Swiss Air Force in 1980, having flown first as A-108 and then U-108 since 1947. It is now painted to represent a Swiss Bf 109 flown by the 6th Fighter Squadron.
